Suicide Awareness and Prevention
If you are feeling down or struggling with thoughts of suicide, there are numerous local and national resources available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline,* which may be reached by calling 1-800-273-8255; and Serve & Protect,* which may be reached by calling 615-373-8000.
Chicago Patrolmen's Federal Credit Union Chief Executive Officer Scott Arney joins the Credit Union family in support of 12-year-old Lucy Kuelper’s #MoveOver Project to “drive home” awareness of #ScottsLaw.
The daughter of an Illinois State Police Trooper, Lucy is determined to bring more awareness to the #MoveOver law following recent events involving State Troopers in Illinois. She hopes to fill her #MoveOver Facebook page "with real faces in order to fully understand the impact!!!
To help Lucy with her mission, the Credit Union has created 500 #MoveOver signs, which we are distributing across the state. We also have signs available, while supplies last, at each of our four branch locations. Pick up a sign or just come in to take a photo with one to post on Lucy's page.
Thank you, Lucy, for not only shedding light on this important law, but also for helping to put a name and face to every First Responder in the field!
